摘要:
结合国内外视频采集及传输系统的发展特点,介绍了一种基于双NIOS II软核架构的新型视频采集与网络传输系统的实现方法.设计中传感器芯片选择的是CMOS图像.传感器OV7640, 由2个NIOS II软核和相应外设构成的SOPC系统负责接收高速视频数据,缓存及打包进行网络传输,其中2个NIOS II软核分别负责采集和网络传输,双核并行协同工作,显著提高了工作效率.说明了SOPC系统的组成结构、设计流程、软件调试和双核之间的共享与通信.本系统选择Altera提供的NIOS II开发板作为验证平台,调试结果表明本视频采集及传输系统达到了设计要求,并有良好的图像质量和远程控制能力.
Abstract:
According to the development tendency of video capture and transmission system, this paper introduces a new video capture and Internet transmission system based on dual NIOS II softcores. CMOS image sensor OV7640 is selected as the sensor chip in the design. The SOPC system consisting of dual NIOS II softcores and relevant peripherals is responsible for accepting, caching and Internet transmission of high speed video data. Capture is completed by one NIOS II and Internet transmission is completed by another NIOS II. The dual NIOS II softcores run simultaneously and cooperate well, and the system efficiency is remarkably improved. The structure of this SOPC system, the flow of design, the software debugging and the sharing and communication between the two CPUs are introduced. The system chooses NIOS II development board provided by Altera as test bench. Experimental results indicate that the system can realize the function of localarea and network video monitor and the image quality is good.
