摘要:
基于小波变换域图像边缘检测算法只能有效检测出图像有限方向的边缘,而且这种算法所得到的边缘图像往往出现断裂现象.Contourlet变换是一种新的多尺度几何分析方法,它不仅拥有小波变换的时频局域特性和多分辨率特性,而且还具有很好的方向性和各向异性.提出一种新的基于Contourlet变换的边缘检测算法.仿真结果表明,该算法对图像边缘细节的提取比基于小波的图像边缘检测方法更加丰富,且具有较好的连续性.
Abstract:
Image edge detection algorithm based on wavelet transform domain can only capture edges in limited directions of images, and fracture behavior is often occurred in the edge image got by above algorithm. Contourlet is a new multiscale geometric analysis method, which not only possesses the main features of local timefrequency and multiresolution possessed by wavelets, but also good directionality and anisotropy. In this paper, a new edge detection algorithm based on Contourlet transform domain is proposed. Experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm based on Contourlet transform for image edge extraction of detail is more abundant than the edge detection method based on wavelet, and has better continuity.
